The Shepherd's Basket Leader: Bob Hall
Open: Mondays and Thursdays, 1:00-3:00 p.m. Location: Calvary Baptist Church 606 Ridgeway Ave Columbia, 65203 Volunteer Coordinator: Sharron Eichler Policy: Clients are checked for eligibility by their income level per family size and how often they have received help. Our current policy is to serve a family once every two months. In 1997, Calvary Baptist Church and the association joined together to begin a food ministry that could be supported and used by all of the churches in the association. The Shepherd's Basket is run entirely by volunteers from the associational churches who greet clients, prepare paperwork, sack groceries and pray with those requesting.
